Feeding Directions:
Horses of all classes and ages feed 1 to 2 tablespoons per 1000 lbs body weight daily mixed with normal feed ration. Or, 2 to 4 tablespoons ½ to 1 hour prior to an event which may create stress or excitement. The large end of the enclosed scoop measures 1 tablespoon (approx ½ ounce). Or, as directed by a veterinarian.
This product works and seems to take the edge off my spirited horse before competitions, without sapping his energy. However, he frequently leaves a good portion of the powder in his grain bucket. Wish this came in pellets! That's why it is not a 5-star rating.

Good product; definitely has a calming effect but doesnt seem to slow them down. However, horses dont do well with powder -- even in grain. Wish you sold Vita-Calm in Pellets.
