Adding a Healthy Pet Water Filter to the Healthy Pet Water Station helps remove chlorine, sediment and odor from the water stored in the reservoir. Keeping the water supply fresh, clean and odor free has been shown to promote your pet to drink more water.
This filter will fit any Healthy Pet Water Station (sold separately). Replacing the filter every 6-8 weeks will provide the best results, depending on pet usage. This pack comes with 2 Healthy Pet Water Filters. Encouraging your pet to drink more will keep your pet healthier and prevent unnecessary illness.

Works well. My cat took to it right away. The only problem is when you first use it the charcol gets into the water so you may have to rinse and refill multiple times before you can get completely clear water without little black chunks. After a week or two the problem goes away. I still recommend it. This would be the only flaw. Also entirely pets is DEFINITELY the cheapest that I have found.
Unnecessary by HappyDoggieMom from Menifee CA05/09/2014
So, the reason people buy a water dispenser is so they don't have to fill a water dish every day. So consider this. After a day or two, inevitably there will be crumbs at the bottom of the water dish, which render the filters useless. They only filter water being emptied into the dish. Not what falls down from your pet's sloppy chops into the dish after dining!
So this nice "filtered" water now has other residue in it. You can only remove it by completely emptying the entire dispenser. Kind of redundant and unnecessarily inconvenient.
If you want nice, clean, fresh water for your pet every day, you're just gonna' have to do the bowl thing.
