Better than the other balls but..... by Andy from Las Vegas, NV10/30/2012
This ball is a lot more durable than the felt ones in the store that cost $3 each. I also like this ball because it whistles when you throw it. The other balls are only good for one visit to the park and then they fall apart. The only problem with this ball is it is a little too small for the Chuskit stick and the color (blue) is sometimes hard for my Jake (dog) to see after I throw it. Other than that it works great and is a lot better than the cheap felt balls they sell at the store. If this ball was a little bigger and came in an easier to see color it would be perfect. If you are tired of paying $3 for a ball each time you go to the dog park then this ball is for you.
Fits my pitcher thing. by Barton from Leoma, TN 3846803/27/2013
Some don't fit my "thrower" but these do. Last longer then tennis balls.
dangerous toy by mygsds06/01/2012
I would be careful using this toy. My dog brought it back to me and could not release it. Found her canine tooth was stuck in the hole. I would stick with the solid rubber balls for the Chuckit.
Warning by Eva from Seattle03/24/2012
I have used the chuckit whistle ball for over a year with my dog. However, yesterday we had a scary incident. When he caught the ball, it slipped down his throat and got lodged. He couldn't breath or cough it out. Thankfully, after several tries, I was able to hook my finger into one of the holes and dislodge the ball. The rubber gets very slippery from saliva and there was frost on the ground which contributed to how slippery it got. This can be a dangerous toy for dogs.
