I ordered 2 or these pumps. One I am using the other is a backup. It is nice a quiet (for a 100 gal. pump) It's quieter than the Petsmart "top fin" brand 40gal. pumps. It seems to be pumping air just fine so far (a week). These kind of diaphragm pumps wear out if they are under heavy back pressure so that's why I ordered a backup. I would have given it 5 stars but its not even made by Tetra. Its made for Tetra... in China :(
