All natural wood products leach tannins, which discolor water and reduce pH levels. To minimize this effect, soak wood in a separate container, and change water daily to remove excess tannins.

The price alone is the best deal. When I received the product, it was actually in perfect quality. I ve been searching for some natural wood to put into my tank that Im setting up for plants, and everywhere I looked for this wood, I couldnt find anything less than 30-40 bucks a piece. I work at a pet store and even with my discount, I couldn't get this good of a deal. Im buying another piece as Im writing this.

The wood came and the colors are gorgeous! I woud recommend this product to anyone. You won't find these natural colors in an ordinary piece of wood!
