Back: Measure length of pet�s back from the base of the neck to the base of the tail. See below for estimating by breed.
Neck: Measure the circumference of pet�s neck, snug but not tight. No need to add inches as you would with a collar.
Chest/Girth: Measure girth around the broadest part of the chest and add 2�.
Note: If the dog has a stout build, select one size larger.
These jackets are very nice for the money - could never make them for this price, but, the sizes are way off - I needed to return the large and get an extra large for a 45 lb dog, and get an XX large for my Lab.

These are great for keeping the dogs cleaner and drier but the design could be improved. Instead of a front closure, which makes it hard to get legs in and out, the closure should be on the side.
