Description
Aqua-Zithro is an antibiotic for use in birds. Using Azithromycin, this formula treats local and systemic infections in exotic birds, pet birds, and pigeons. It combats gram-positive and certain gram-negative bacteria, anaerobic bacteria, spirochetes, and other microorganisms. It is also effective in treating Chlamydia Psittaci in cockatiels.
Useful Information
Add contents of one tablet (250 mg) to 8 oz. of drinking water. Make a fresh solution daily. Continue treatment for 7-10 days. Not to be given to birds that are intended for human consumption.
Caution:
Keep out of reach of children. Bird antibiotics are not intended for human consumption.
Storage:
Keep lid tightly fastened and store at a controlled room temperature of 59° - 86°F (15° - 30°C).
