What is Bonito?
Bonito is a fish which swims in the waters of the Western Pacific Ocean. It is a schooling fish which hails from the Tuna family. Since Bonito is a bony fish it is rarely eaten for its meat. Instead the dark, oily fish is carefully dried and shaved into very fine, intensely flavored flakes. The Japanese use these flakes to make a savory broth, while cats and dogs love the flakes just the way they are, right out of the container!

Best Cat Treat EVER!

I tried this treat after seeing it on "My Cat From H*LL" and my 2 cats will do almost anything to get to this treat. I only have to say "Who wants a treat?" before they come running down the hall, or from wherever they're lounging, and then they're begging... just like a dog!
While many find this treat expensive, I don't hesitate to buy the big 4 oz bag. A bag this size might last me 2 weeks between the two cats. This is a very healthy treat and can be used in a variety of ways, as others have suggested. If you're having difficulty getting your cat to eat, just sprinkle some flakes on top of their food. Guarantee they'll at least eat the flakes!
I have tried every Cat-Man-Doo product I've been able to get my hands on. The quality is always excellent! And I never hesitate to treat my cats with them because the treats are so healthy. Enjoy! And I'm sure you'll be singing Cat-Man-Doo's praises too!

These are great treats. I also use them crumbled over food to get my CKD kitty to eat more to keep her weight up, and they make great little "pill packages" to hide meds in.

When they hear the crinkling of the bag? They run down, one of them meowing till they actually have some. I like to top their food with these.
They like them because of their taste and I enjoy the fact that they are very healthy treats!
I wish they were available in Canada but I will keep ordering them from the States till they are.
