Tucker's sore tummy
January 18, 2017
I used this for my 58 lb. basset boy, Tucker following a large cyst that ruptured and he wanted to continually lick at it because it was draining. Being a basset with very short legs, the plastic cone of shame for a dog his size made it impossible for him to get around. Bassets are scent hounds and always have their nose to the ground. The plastic cone would catch on the carpet and he'd have to back up and try to go forward again. This inflatable collar worked pretty well and kept him from licking the open wound for the most part. He's crated at night and this was too large for him to sleep in so he wore a soft plastic cage muzzle at night. The wound has healed completely without further treatment.
