Great flea comb
September 19, 2017
Unlike other combs I have bought over the years, the teeth are very close, and actually catch the fleas on your pet. Have a container of soapy water ready to put the fleas into....they drowned pretty fast. Also, the teeth are a lot stronger on this comb. When using on thicker or longer hair, they don't break off after a few uses.

Flea comb

It works beautifully! I use it after walks to be sure any fleas that hitchhiked a ride on my dogs don't get in the house. Amazing how many try!

Happy with purchase

I use flea combs on my horses legs after riding to check for ticks.
Of course it gets used on the dogs & cats too!
The teeth on this comb are close together, not letting any tiny ticks escape. The light color teeth allow ticks to be seen easily. This comb's handle makes it easy to hold AND has a hole for hanging on a string.
I do wish the handle were solid instead of having deep slanted holes that invite dirt. Keeping the handle rinsed & clean is the solution to that, but a solid handle would be a better design.
I also have a long haired cat that gets seeds & knots close to his skin & I must be very, very careful not to cut him. This comb's teeth are close enough that when I slip the teeth between the skin & the knot, it helps keep skin from pulling through with the hair & getting snipped with scissors.
I am ordering a second one to keep with our horse camping stuff.
