Aqueon QuietFlow 75 Aquarium Power Filter with a strong but quiet submersible pump that is conveniently self-priming on setup or after tank cleanings, this filtration system keeps your aquarium water clean and clear while also eliminating the messy splashing and annoying noises that you encounter with many other systems. With five stages of filtration, including mechanical, chemical and biological, your fishy family members will benefit from the cleanest and clearest water that they’ve ever had, and you’ll love the convenience of the LED indicator light that lets you know when it’s time to replace the filter to keep your fish community tank free from toxins and debris.

  • Five-stage filtration removes debris and toxins, eliminates odors and water discoloration, and boosts oxygenation.
  • Patented submersed pump and Bio-Holster filter design reduces splashing, keeping it virtually silent while running.
  • LED indicator light flashes when filter becomes clogged with debris, providing an automatic filter change reminder.
  • Self-priming pump starts automatically after tank cleanings or power interruptions, helping to prevent leaks and messes.
  • Higher water flow rate ensures fish stay healthier and more active, thanks to increased dissolving of oxygen content

      D. To acoid the possibility of the appliance plug or receptacle gettign wet, position aquarium stand and tank to one side of the wall mounted receptacle to prevent water from dripping onto the receptacle or plug. As shwon in the figure below, a "drip loop" should be arranged by the user for each cord connecting an aquarium appliance to the receptacle. The "drip loop" is the part of the cord below the level of the receptacle, or the connector if an extension cord is used, to prevent water travel along the cord and coming in contact with the receptacle. If the plug or the receptacles do get wet, DON'T unplug the cord. Disconnect the fus to the circuit breaker that supplies power to the appliance. 11. If this appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider thatn the other) as a safety feature, this plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one way. Amazing power filter
I bought this product to replace my old one that went out. I am so happy with this model. My tank is so much clearer with thispower filter than it ever was with the other one.

    Aqueon QuietFlow 55 noisy
I bought my QuietFlow for my 30 gallon a couple days ago and am shocked at how noisy it is. The motor noise is very loud compared to my old filter I had. It is a more powerful filter than my last one so maybe that has something to do with it but I've tried everything to get it to be more quiet. It's just a constant motor grinding noise and since it's in the living room it's impossible to watch TV. I'm taking it back tomorrow and getting a different one. I wouldn't recommend this filter just because of that.

I have 2 "Quiet flow 75" pumps (one on each side of my aquarium) the right pump is close to silent, the left side is annoyingly loud. Is there a water flow control? It seems the water coming back into the tank is creating the noise. Is it defective??
