In a taste test with Charlie Bear liver treats and the Obey treat, both our dogs preferred the Charlie Bear. As a dog trainer, this test also proved to me that while the Obey treat IS nice and small, it did take the dog longer to chew and tiny pieces fell from his mouth which brought on sniffing and hunting, a behavior that slowed down repetitions of our training. I would recommend the Obey treat for a general, small treat, but not for a training treat. The Charlie Bears are far superior.

Good but not perfect

My puppy like this, so I encourage him to earn his treat easily. However, for a small dog breed pieces could be too big - I have a JRT, and he needs to stop and chew this cookie rather than just swallow or bite. This brings unwanted pauses to our training session and also makes us not to use this treat outside, for Joker would drop it and eat properly.
