Good Doggie door, bad fit

I already have two Endura pet doors. One wall mounted and one exterior door mount. I decided to close those and use my patio door so I ordered another Endura. I needed to have it installed. The handyman I was referred to didn't call back until 2 weeks later after I had finally found someone to do it. My slider is not square apparently. The weather stripping is not thick enough to close the gap so it leaks cold error. The door panel itself doesn't fit in my frame well so if you try to close the gap, it moves away from the door frame. The weather stripping I purchased for the screen is not wide enough to cover the gap either. I'm very unhappy with this after $600 plus. I will have to try to jury-rig something to block the drafts and make it less unstable.
