Perfect for our dogs
June 13, 2018
I had hesitations about buying this becomes some of our friends had dogs that escaped their invisible fences, but we decided to give it a try. I have 4 dogs from 30lbs to 98 lbs. Two are "runners." I set up the fence and marked off the boundaries with flags. It only took my dogs getting 2-3 shocks (the first week) and they were trained. They have more room to run and play (before they were on leashes). I love this system.
Proseasy set up, easy to train dogs wit
ConsArea is circular so lose some yard
Petsafe Wireless Containment System

I would not have a dog without this system. In fact I have one at home and one at the cottage. They are fantastic systems. I bought this one for a senior who feared she would be unable to get her dog if he decided to stray off the property. She is delighted with her freedom to let her dog out and know he will not go past the invisible barriers we have set up with the system.
Well Worth The Money

I didn't want to spend this much money, but I'm so glad I did. I absolutely love this product. I just wish I would have invested in it a lot sooner due to the loss of my two dogs to the road. I would much rather my dogs get a small static shock then have to bury them. This wireless system is the best. It keeps my dog within a certain area and it didn't take her long to learn where she was allowed to go. I also enjoy being able to adjust the perimeter. I had to make it much smaller due to her getting into a few things. This was a great buy!

The best thing I have ever bought. I now have 2. One for home and one for the barn with the 2 areas overlapping in one spot. Now my dog can run freely and be safe and never run off again. Just take the time to train them right in the beginning as the directions say. Don't leave them alone until you are sure they will not test the system so they are brought back right away. That way they learn that coming back is what stops the shock. Not running away and learning that eventually the shock will stop. Once they learn correctly, it is the perfect solution to a run away dog.

Does this system work with the Pawz Away Outdoor Pet Barrier collar?
Unfortunately, this collar and system are not compatible with one another- as the outdoor and indoor Pet Containment systems operate on different frequencies. The Pawz Away collar only operates with the Pawz Away Outdoor System available here: http://www.entirelypets.com/pawzawaypet.html and the Yard Max Rechargeable In-Ground Fence, available here: http://www.amazon.com/PetSafe-Yardmax-Rechargeable-In-Ground-Fencing/dp/B00DDXS9QI (and at a more affordable price than the Petsafe website) On the other hand, this system (The Petsafe Wireless Fence Containment System) is compatible with The Petsafe Deluxe Ultralight Receiver Collar: http://www.entirelypets.com/petsafe-deluxe-ultralight-receiver-collar.html PetSafe Extra Receiver Collars http://www.entirelypets.com/petsafecollar.html The Stay+Play Wireless Fence Receiver Collar http://www.entirelypets.com/stayplaycollar.html And the collar from the Stubborn Dog Stay+Play Wireless Fence Receiver Collar: http://www.entirelypets.com/pig0010777.html (Individual Collar available here): http://www.amazon.com/Petsafe-Stubborn-Wireless-Receiver-Collar/dp/B00AN64IGI

How many dogs can I put on this system I have 3?
Petsafe claims that you can add an unlimited number of dogs to this system- so it should be able to handle 3 with ease. You can find extra collars for your dogs here: http://www.entirelypets.com/petsafecollar.html And instructions for syncing the collars with your system here: http://ep.yimg.com/ty/cdn/entirelypets/PIF300-training.pdf
