never again
June 25, 2012
I ordered this food because it is about half the price of getting it through my vet. Problem is that every can came dented and damaged. I don't eat food out of dented cans, and won't give it to my dogs. I didn't realize I was getting reject merchandise. Never again for me!

Meat-by-products? No thanks. You can do better for the same price.

Purina Truly Came Up with A Winner!
June 30, 2010
My Aussie who is now 14 years and 7 months has been eating EN for a year and is doing marvelously on it! She ate holistic her whole life and I hesitated to switch her to anything else but then she began to really have problems with her inflammatory bowel and acid reflux. Also, unbeknownst to me she had also developed chronic pancreatitis aggravated by too high a fat content in her foods. I had tried Hill's i/d and it was horrible for her. She lost weight on it and lost her enthusiam for life.

I then chose EN because it was simple, low-fat and "clean." No fillers or corn gluten. Requirements for her because of allergies and the pancreatitis and the inflammatory bowel disease and acid reflux.AND Purina added coconut oil which is very healthy and beneficial for her.

On this formula her diarrhea cleared up, she stopped vomiting and her pancreatitis went into remission. Also I feed her four small meals a day spaced four hours apart to help keep the pancreatitis at bay. I only feed her canned as it is easier to digest than kibble. I feel this formula is helping her to live longer because it has quieted down her pancreatitis and her IBD and acid reflux. As I stated in other ways, this is an excellent formula. SO much better than Hills i/d! Purina really formulated a highly effective food with EN!

Purina Veterinary Diets En Gastroenteric
March 29, 2010
My wife, (Maria) & myself use this diet food for our puppy, (Harley). He is a Great Dane, Boxer mix. He is now 100 lbs. & one year old. Harley could not keep the food down. So we found a good vet who loves animals. Harley has things going on with his stomach. As all greats do. Harley's vet put him on this diet food, (En Gastroenteric) 7 months ago. Harley is doing a lot better now. The cost, I think is a bet high. But Maria thinks it is better than him being sick. So as all men do. They keep the wife happy. Then all is happy in the home. We have a puppy who became sensitive to the food that we had been feeding him for months.

He literally did not want to eat.

Our Vet recommended EN and JoJo loves it! He is back on an eating schedule of 3 Xs per day and even comes looking for his food.

Thank you Purina!
