Directions: Comb your dog carefully, being cautious to keep the sharpened edge of the blade from coming in contact with the skin. Start at the outer edge, working inward to break apart the matted hair. Comb in the direction of hair growth until the dematting comb glides easily though the coat.
For left hand use, remove nut and assemble blades in opposite direction. Replace nut and tighten.

dematting comb

This is our second one--the first lasted almost 10 years!! We have Newfoundlands and this is a requirement for grooming them in the spring when they start blowing their coat. Highly recommend it.
