Long Comb is Easy To Use
The flea comb is excellent to comb new cats coming to the rescue. They like being combed and of course it checks for fleas. Then they are treated with flea control. The length of the comb is easier to use than the short combs.

    safari flea comb
We are experiencing the perennial bad year for fleas. I bought the larger flea comb for my dog and cats. I keep sudsy water in a large glass that is equipped with two combs available to use when 2 fleas happens past.

I really like Safari comb because of two rows of teeth. I find that the teeth on the regular comb are too long to catch fleas on kittens. I suspect that would be true of puppies and other smaller pets. I will try the cat version to see if it better with short hair on smaller bodies.

I have thought I had captured a flea but didn't see it sinking in water ala the opening of Vikings. I discovered that some deceased fleas are trapped between the two rows of teeth. These fleas are easily removed by running a credit card back and forth between the teeth. I am sure you too have at least one store rewards card that doesn't seem to have a function beyond tracking your purchases. Those cards' calling is cleaning flea combs. I really like the safari combs as do the dog and 2 cats. Kittens not so much.
