- With the tube pointing up and away from the face and body, cut off the narrow end at the notches with scissors.

I have only used this product for the first time - one month, but the results seem promising. Our dog did not have any prior issues with flea/tick or mosquitoes so this is the first time to try this product. I got the product at a very affordable price, was easy to apply, had a pleasant scent & did not seem to have any negative side-effects on our dog. I guess I do not like the fact it is oily/greasy to the coat, but I guess that is to be expected for all flea/tick products. I just had to rub it in & work it into the skin a bit to make it less noticeable on the coat. I am not too sure how effective the product would be after bathing, but I am going to try to apply this either way before of after a bath. I hope the product stays effective despite bathing, but that I am not positive on. So far, I like the easy of use & the fact it is a natural essential oil blend instead of any other more harmful chemicals. Only time will tell over the spring/summer how well this product will work, but for now I like it & my dog seems just fine using it. I will continue with this product & monitor over time.

I gave it 2 stars instead of 1 because it might work for fleas, or maybe it's because we were at the end of the season, but no sign of them so that part works. I bought both for cats and dogs. I won't buy this product again because the scent is just too much! The smell and feel really seemed to bother all of them. It's oily and messy, turns white coats yellow. I would love to find a "natural" product for tick & flea control, but this isn't it.

I have been using this product for a while and it keeps our Dog and our home Flea free, well worth it.
Love that it's natural

It's very strong smelling and the smell lasts for days. It's a pleasant smell just a little overwhelming at first. I have 8 dogs so I don't do all in one day. Love the fact that it is natural with all the bad reviews of the chemical ones. I try to use all natural or homeopathic remedies as much as I can. Very reasonably priced compared to the expense of the other chemical products. So far no fleas or ticks. Very pleased with this product.

Sentry Natural Defense Flea & Tick

It has an over powering smell when first applied for 2 days. Other than that it works well. My dogs didn't like it when I applied it at first, they must not have liked the smell either. I like the fact that it is made with natural ingredients.

Our Belgein Shepperd has good results from this, but my English Cocker seems to have gotten none. We have tried it for 2 months now and don't know what to do about the EC. He can't sleep, he scratches so much.

We have tried so many flea and tick repellants and although they worked, they made my little babies itch and even burned them once. This Natural Defense works just as well as the brand names at a fraction of the price and without the itching or burning. The smell is a bit much, but if you put it on outside and leave the dogs outside for a couple of hours, it is only very slightly noticable inside. (I would rather have the spice scent over chemicals, that burn my dogs too, anyday).
