I've used these traps for years because I don't want to handle dead mice. Usually captures in just a few days and then off to the woods go the mice! Far better than any other fancier concept live trap.
Merchant Response:Thanks for the review Jennifer. Personally I have used these traps too.
ProsEasy to use and effective.
ConsHard to tell if you've got a small mouse. Sometimes the trap will get knocked over by a mouse and its empty. Can be hard to clean

Worked the second night

The first night I placed these baited with peanut butter behind our kitchen garbage under the sink and in the drawer where we had been finding droppings, the mouse managed to trigger both traps without getting trapped. But I re-set them the second night and caught the mouse. I was able to humanely relocate the rodent, and that has put a stop to new droppings being found. Lucky us; there was only one mouse.
ProsHumane, quick, easy, affordable.
ConsYou must set an alarm so that you remember to check the trap each morning so as to avoid inflicting unneeded suffering on a sentient being.

Did not catch even one mouse. Still have mice. Trap door closes by itself, I guess from movements, such as walking or closing doors.
work great...great price

I bought three traps. They arrived surprisingly quickly. I set the traps in the drawers where I had seen mouse droppings. The first two nights I had no success because the traps slipped on the finish of the drawers and closed prematurely. The third night I set them on paper towels. Next morning I had mice in two of three traps. I released the mice in the woods far away from the house. I'm very happy with these traps. Thanks!
Great mouse trap

I caught two mice the first day in the traps ( I purchased 3). They are very easy to use, an intelligent design and the mouse lives to be released in the woods.
