I got one at a human hospital in Ecuador!
May 31, 2020
I'm a retired American living in Ecuador. I was given one of these as a patient at a human hospital in Cuenca, Ecuador! I was in the hospital (which shall remain unnamed) for a radioactive iodine treatment. I just assumed that the thermometer would be kept by the hospital, but no, when I left the hospital I was given the thermometer they used on me. It works. I guess there's no reason why a "veterinary" thermometer won't work for humans too. They used it to take my temperature under my arm.
- It works and I didn't have to pay extra for it.
