A staple in my dogs' diet
    June 2, 2016
My sister, who raises show dogs, recommended this product to me when I got my first dog almost 10 years ago. Now, with 2 additional dogs, I continue to add this to their dinner every day. With 2 dachshunds and a very active toy poodle, it's important to me to give them the highest quality of life. That starts with their diet. This product provides extra protection for bones, joints, and general good health, and with the high-quality ingredients I require for my precious pets.

    Best Decision To Purchase Product
    March 28, 2016
I originally purchased this to help my Boston Terrier to increase her appetite, due to the loss of her mother 3 months ago. It also helps with her flatulence and has stopped her diarrhea, now has soft firm stools. She also has thyroid gland problems and not sluggish anymore. Her coat is really shinny and soft.
Great product of the Wholistic Sea Kelp!! Will continue to purchase and keep her on it.
She loves it because she is use to the smell and taste because she also eats the dried sea weed snack that I eat.

    For my bulldogs
    December 23, 2015
I am writing from Turkey. I always read very good influences of kelp for dogs. And I was thinking to order one for try. This is the first time I will give kelp to my dogs and I will observe the results on my dogs. I want to thank to Entirelypets for sending my order this quick even though I live other side of World. It reached me in around 4 weeks but 1 week of this 4 weeks, my order waited at Turkish Customs Post Office. This is a pretty quick delivery for me if I consider that the product is coming from US to Turkey. Later I will write my observations of the effects of kelp to my dogs.

    Improvements all round
    July 21, 2014
I chose this kelp as even though it seemed more expensive than other brands offered on Entirely Pets the dosage is less, so it worked out to be the same or less than the others. I was looking to help my 18 year old dog with her arthritis, but decided to feed it to all of my dogs for skin and coat health. The kelp has definitely eased my old girls arthritis pain a little and all of my dogs coats and skin have improved dramatically. We live in a dry desert environment and this product is a great help to keeping my dogs in good condition. My dogs were a little wary of the smell to begin with but I mixed the kelp in with some tasty meat to get them used to the taste. Now they love it and get excited when I open the container. This is a great, high quality product.

I have a 14 year old Westie and her appetite is not as good as it once was. I was wondering if this would improve her appetite. I know she sleeps more but everything else seems fine.

My dobie was recently diagnosed with hypothyroidism and just started taking Soloxine 1mg twice daily. My question is would this product (Wholistic Sea Kelp) help her condition and if so, what dose would i give her? She is 94 lbs. Thanks, Lynne Clark

While kelp contains iodine and can prove useful when supplementing your pet's iodine intake, too much iodine can be dangerous to your pet- and a diagnosis of hypothyrodism may or may not have been caused by iodine deficiency. I would ask your veterinarian if your pet's hypothyrodism is related to a lack of dietary iodine and what dosage of sea kelp (if any) may be appropriate to supplement the deficiency.
