Excellent Heat Source That You Can See
November 8, 2016
I love these ZooMed red night heat bulbs because I can see them therefore I know they are on. I started with heat emitters a decade ago and never felt the confidence that these bulbs give me. I give them a solid 4 because they work well, just wish they lasted a little longer. Still worth the money as they are better made than the competition in this category in my opinion.

If this sheds "VERY LITTLE visible" light..
November 11, 2012
..what, then, would "LOTS of visible" light mean: FLOOD-lighting?
For goodness' sake, does tell-it-like-it-REALLY-is advertising still exist...oi is it just self-serving hype and gross distortion?! "Infra"-red HAS TO mean, by definition, "below red," i.e., "below the visible spectrum," i.e., IN-visible light, NOT just a red-colored lamp.
The one I fell into BATHES my chickens in red light. Granted, it isn't quite as bright as a "white" light lamp would be, but it's plenty bright, so bright, in fact, that I wonder whether my birds CAN actually sleep in it.
I think "Entirely Pets" should stop using the rhetoric now applied to this product. Would I like compensation? Yes, but not in terms of mere $$$ returned -- leaving me with nothing lost, but also nothing gained.
'
What I really want is a GENUINE INFRA-red lamp, folks - that's all.
Sincerely,
Rondack
