Lucy loves her Betties by Kit from Maple Grove, MN08/04/2010
My dog tears apart every toy we give her.
But, the Bettie lasts longer than all others.
She has had 2 in the last 3 years & I'm buying her third, today.
The only reason I need to buy this third one is because the sun & Minnesota extreme weather finally got the best of this one...It's just worn out.
This is the best throw toy on the market, hands down.
Bettie is fun and indestructable by Karen from Atlanta12/29/2010
My Welsh Terriers love this toy, and they haven't destroyed it, even after hours of chewing. Other rubber toys last, but seem to have a taste they don't like. Both dogs prefer their Bettie to all other toys, and I like it too because it's light weight and doesn't harm things if I throw it in the house. It's also easy to clean. The perfect dog toy, in my opinion, after years of searching. We now have several Betties in all colors in every room of the house.
This is a fabulous toy, my dog is a super chewer and we've had this for over 2 months and it's still in one piece! super durable!
not for chewers by Hana from Kailua, HI02/20/2013
I purchased this toy to have a tough toy that 2 dogs can tug and can stand up to them. If just tugging it was fine, but 30 seconds in an 8 month old GWP pups mouth and one of the arms was off...had to toss it out.
Fantastic Toy by BostonBuddy from Davis, CA10/23/2012
I am thrilled with the durability of this toy! My dog has the 'super dog' ability to destroy most toys in
minutes, regardless of indestructibility claims! We've had this toy nearly a month and it almost looks like the day it arrived! Some scuff marks from throwing is about all. I haven't yet found the correct treat that doesn't fly out as it bounces when thrown. But, according to my dog, it is very easily 'self-carried'! Lots of fun for them!!
Best fetch toy ever by Helsev from Pennsylvania11/06/2012
My Shepard, Reuben, absolutely loves this toy. It is easy for me to throw and it goes a long distance. He can get a good grip on it and either play fetch or tug of war with it. It is easy to clean and does not tear or fall apart like so many other toys. The first one I bought 3 years ago is still in good shape even after being out in the snow and rain and sun. It is a very good quality toy. Best ever.
good toy by finding Jackson08/16/2012
my dog likes the toy. it's durable and multi-use. i can also make it interesting for him by stuffing treats in it.
Indestructible fun! by Jerry Holmes10/20/2008
Our Labradoodle LOVES this toy & it's proven to be amazingly long lasting. It even floats if it lands in water! The bright colors also are great for spoting in winter snow.
Great toy by misty from Pa10/19/2013
Our lab loves this toy and has made this her most favorite toy for outside play. Sometimes we even let her bring it in the house and she really thinks it great fun.
cool toy, but my dog is uniterested by dpg1011/03/2012
Nice tough toy, but my dog doesnt seem to be interested in it unless there is peanut butter shoved into the grooves. Which is hard to clean once its in there.. so I wouldnt recommend doing that!
Excellent Toy for Energetic Puppy! by it's.a.southern.thing from Virginia04/23/2012
This is an excellent toy for an energetic puppy who loves to play! I have a 10 month old weimaraner who thinks it is so much fun. The only reason that I didn't give it 5 stars is because she chewed the center green piece up within a few minutes. It is hard plastic and for some reason, she was fixated on it. I easily popped it out of the toy and threw it away so she didn't choke on it, and she's still just as interested in the toy as she originally was! Also for those with powerful chewers, this has held up great so far!
Lots of Fun by Barb08/10/2009
My dog LOVES this.....loves to watch where it will bounce to when I throw it. She is even learning when to let go when retrieving it. (still a puppy)
Good toy for fetching outside. Not a whole lot of action but durable for outside play.
Great toy by laceyyoung04/08/2012
Our Golden loves this toy - and its durable and can't be chewed [like so many of her other toys]!
GREAT by GARY02/07/2008
WE HAVE A BOXER WHO ISN'T VERY GENTLE WITH HER TOYS. THE BETTIE FETCH TOY IS MORE DURABLE THAN ANY TOY SHE HAS!! GREAT PRODUCT!
Belle's Favorite! by Nancy04/07/2009
Our Doberman, who is not easy on toys, loves this one! We play fetch in the ocean with it (it floats) and hide treats in it when we go out and leave her home! It is her favorite toy and she has not been able to chew it to pieces.
Great toy by Kat-W12/31/2012
Our 3 very large boxer and boxer mixes really like this toy. It is used as a pull toy between them or individually played with by tossing and retrieving.
Cute but not so tough by Dre09/19/2013
Fun toy with awkward bounce. Not recommended for dogs who like to chew.
He likes it! by Paint Horse Mom from Illinois01/17/2013
Great Pyrenees do not fetch. That said, my Charlie will chase his Bettie Fetch Toy better than anything else for playing "Get It." In his mind, tennis balls are a little disgusting, but the Bettie Fetch has the right feel in his mouth. It also floats, which is a nice bonus for pool play. And, it's pretty durable. We're happy with the purchase.
by Watson's mom12/08/2012
This is getting chewed up pretty quickly. Play fun is good but its not going to last long.
Best throw toy! by Linda11/28/2012
This toy throws well, and it is easier for my dog to pick up than a frizbee!
He loves it!
He loves it! by JPB from LA, CA11/29/2012
Boon, my standard poodle, just loves this toy - for chewing on and for retrieving. As with any chew toy, I watch him, and sure enough the middle button did come out, but it took awhile and I could recover it from him. Great to put treats in one of the 'arms'.
I absolutely love these! by Gus from Seattle08/06/2013
I buy 4 of these (at least) at a time. My lab and everyone I give them to also loves them. I put peanut butter in the ends of the prongs and it keeps him busy for a while.
Our dog likes it by Tucker10/24/2012
We put Honest Kitcken brand food in the ends and freeze it. It keeps him busy working to get the food out. Also a good fetch toy that goes in different directions.
It's a Lab toy !!! by misty from Grand Canyon of PA08/24/2013
Our Lab who is going to be a year soon can eat thru any toy within minutes. Even a Kong toy is not safe at our house.
But, this toy is wonderful. You do need to be careful of the little plastic thing in the middle as she removed that within a few chews. But since that she has fetched, chewed, and has a great time with this.
My Moose loves this toy. He's has lots of evergy. He can get his mouth around the middle and run around so it works well for small dogs (he's 20 lbs). The spokes are long enough that I can also grab it out of his mouth without fear of getting bit. It bounces like crazy which makes him move a lot. This is his favorite toy. As a matter of fact, I had to buy another one so he would have miltiples for outside/inside/park. Perfect toy and he hasn't chewed it up yet. WAHOO
This is great as an outdoor tug and fetch toy. My 2 medium sized dogs run around the yard together with it - so cute! I like that it can stay in the yard and it doesn't get wet like rope toys. It is not something to throw a long distance, at least I can't!
All-day Entertainment! by Meg09/03/2008
My sister's Catahoula Leopard dog isn't a huge fan of sticks OR rubber toys so she thanked me for the toy but doubted that her dog would enjoy it when there were billions of plush toys at home in her basket. The next day I got about 3 text message pictures of her dog carrying around the toy and playing with it! It kept her entertained for HOURS and she has toy ADD!
My Wheaten loves it! by TMM07/22/2009
My Wheaten loves to play fetch with this. You throw it overhead and it rolls all different directions on the grass. I'm going to get the smaller size for my smaller dog!
My youngest border collie loves to tug-tug-tug and this toy has held up really nicely for him. The only bad part is that the center piece is a hard plastic and he manages to "pop" it out. The toy holds up just fine after but you would want to be careful that your dog doesn't swallow the center piece.
bought one 8 yrs agop at retailer/ can't find by nancy from kansas city04/24/2012
best indestructible toy for chewing labs my one is 7 yrs old looks a little battered but new ones for new puppy is great addition. great gift idea for dogs.
Within a few days, chunks were found throughout the house and I caught my lab gnawing off the edges. It's great for holding peanut butter, etc for treats but it doesn't hold up well if your dog is a big chewer.
#1 best toy ever by Gus from Seattle, WA05/17/2010
I have to have at least 4 of these around at all times. The dog absolutely loves them (yellow lab). You can play with them anywhere. I also fill it with peanut butter when I need a break. I give them away to friends all the time. Once I couldn't find them and I spent about 2 weeks searching for them. I didn't know the name at the time. I now call them the Bettie toy and know where to find them.
My small mixed terrier just loves her Bettie. When playing it does more than a ball or a frisbee because it bounces when thrown. She just loves to chase it, never knowing for sure where it will land. It is a great exercise toy. Not easily destroyed, it is well worth the money.
Not as good as expected by muttki from Warsaw, Poland, Europe11/13/2013
I ordered two pieces for my daughter's jack russel mixes. They liked them very much and had fun playing with it but the toys are not as durable as advertised. The dogs are small in size but still they damaged one of the toys already on the day they got it.
