Easy to Bait:
Place peanut butter in bait cup. A special bait cup and trip paddle make it nearly impossible for rats to steal bait without getting trapped.
Easy to Set:
Place trap in a problem area, on a flat surface, preferably near a wall. With both thumbs, pull back slowly on upper bar until it locks firmly in catch. Trap is set when strike bar is in upright position.
Easy to Dispose of Rat:
To dispose of rat, simply pull back on the upright bar until the rat is released.
Snap-E Mouse Trap is escape-proof and you never have to touch another mouse. Snap-E Mousetraps are easy to use and made to last. Use them year after year. They're safe, simple and sanitary. Steel and durable polystyrene materials make them tough. Smart engineering - including a larger trip paddle and strike bar - makes them work every time.
Best trap on the market. Easy to set. Washable. The rats don't have a chance! Great purchase.

Built a better rat trap by spitshine from Bham Washington11/05/2011
Its just an awesome trap, no fear of crushing your thumbs when setting the trap, the "bait" is in a cup so as soon as they touch the "paddle" the rats are toast!!!!!
Best Rat Trap by Dan11/16/2012
It works so much better than those old fashioned wooden rat traps. They are not able to get away with the bait and cleaning the trap is really easy as well.
Yes, there IS a better mouse/rat trap by DesertGuy5708/31/2011
I have used these for 7 years in an open space area trapping rats, squirrels, etc. around my house and yard. Very effective and efficient. Somebody was thinking to invent this trap. The best part is that unlike a conventional wood trap this sets positive and doesnt go off while you are trying to set it, ruining your whole ^%$#$%^ day. Chunky peanut butter is sufficient bait. Easy to clean, reusable, etc. Can't recommend too highly.
I found the cage flimsy and missaligned. I had to fix it so that it would work

I got this cage hoping to catch the possums that were killing my chickens.
While these traps appear to be well designed, with a well holding the bait surrounded by the trigger, somehow my mice manage to take the bait without getting caught. I've found them un-baited, tripped and not but no mouse. I don't know what else to try.
Great mouse trap by FuzzyLuvr from PA01/25/2012
Although it kills me to kill mice, I live on farmland and get overwhelmed by them. With my ferrets and dogs, I do not want to risk rabies, etc. Plus they are dirty (if not kept in cage as pets). This is the BEST brand of mouse trap. The other wooden ones do not work as well. I'll leave that comment as is.

Best Mouse Trap on the Market! by Midwest09/29/2009
This is the only trap on the market that really works, as the old traps did. They are easy to set and within a day, we had trapped those the mice that eluded the other traps.
I too HIGHLY recommend them.
Only effective mouse trap left! by Mark Gnaster08/12/2009
I've been using this mousetrap for the last ten years or so, and it's the only one I've found effective in killing field mice which invade my house some way or another every year. I HIGHLY recommend it!
Did not catch even one mouse. Still have mice. Trap door closes by itself, I guess from movements, such as walking or closing doors.
work great...great price by Annieella from Northern NH10/05/2013
I bought three traps. They arrived surprisingly quickly. I set the traps in the drawers where I had seen mouse droppings. The first two nights I had no success because the traps slipped on the finish of the drawers and closed prematurely. The third night I set them on paper towels. Next morning I had mice in two of three traps. I released the mice in the woods far away from the house. I'm very happy with these traps. Thanks!
Great mouse trap by Jimmie from Pennsylvania08/26/2013
I caught two mice the first day in the traps ( I purchased 3). They are very easy to use, an intelligent design and the mouse lives to be released in the woods.
