Great Alternative to Pill Pushing, Pill Crushing and Hiding Pills in Food
At first she was reluctant to take it, but then decided she really liked it. She's a small dog, taking tiny pills so I break the treat apart and can usually get 4 doses out of one Pill-o. But they're great!
Beagles Love Pill-Os by BeagleMom from Texas08/13/2013
Beagles love the taste of the Pill-Os. They are not as soft as other pill pockets, but it does the trick.
Great pill solution by Lynn from Indianapolis, IN08/26/2014
I used peanut butter on pills until my dog started rejecting peanut butter! These are much less messy, just the right size, and my dog seems to like the taste. Turned out to be a terrific solution. Pills have now become a tasty appetizer.
too small to hold a pill by katgrl. from Dallas-Ft. Worth, Texas03/19/2013
Based on my cats reaction, this, or any product like this isn't going to work because the cat knows it's medicine and medicine tastes bad. With dogs it's easy. The most popular commercially available pill-hider seems to be very palatable. My dogs have all just gobbled them up. They don't taste what's inside. They just want the treat. But cats chew every little bit of food, unlike most dogs who just inhale it. This little wrapper for pills is so small it won't hide anything from the cat. They just need to be pilled the old-fashioned way: hold onto the scruff, open the mouth, and drop it in the mouth at the very center. If the pill is big, you're probably best off to cut it in half. But I don't think a pill wrapper is going to work.
A cheaper alternative by dashiemom from Atlanta, GA05/27/2013
These are a cheaper alternative to Pill Pockets.
I only wish they were a bit bigger to cover larger pills and came it larger quantity. I did end up going back to pill pockets as they come in diffferent favors.
Thought I try these, have been using the more expensive Greenies Pill Pockets..Mistake..My dog would have nothing to do with the Pill-Os..Gave them to my girlfriend's dogs and they love'em....1 star rating for me..5 star rating for friend

We have 2 small dogs (approx 20lbs each) and both are on meds. These work great for capsules as well as pills. Our dogs love them and gobble them right down.

I have been using pill pockets for years. I thought I would try Pill-O as it would be like trying a different treat or my dog.

not as good as pill pockets by picky dogs from las vegas,nv05/14/2013
I had purchased these because my dogs are on maintenance medications. i normally use pill pockets but they are soo expensive! i tried these as an alternative. they are not as plyable as pill pockets and are open ended on both sides. too small for larger pills. one of my dogs would eat them, but the other did not approve. gonna have to stick with pill pockets.
