I have used this product for years and my dogs LOVE,LOVE,LOVE to brush their teeth. Every night we start before bed with a little poultry flavored Petrodex Toothpaste on their brushes hold it down for them and look out! They love the flavor to the point when we are getting the brushes ready they are standing at the sink begging for a taste.I have been brushing my dogs teeth for many,many years long before it was the thing to do, long before their actually was a doggie flavored toothpaste and way long before vet's recommended it. I can honestly say I have never had to have my dog's teeth cleaned professionally, every check up I hear the same thing from my vet "digustingly clean"!
And oh did I mention I have 5 big dogs they all brush every night using the Petrodex Poultry Toothpaste. I love this product and the fact that it is actually very affordable, with a little time and effort it may save you a lot of money in the long run. I highly recommend this product.

My german shepherd, Pheobe, turned 9 years old in February. She has been brushing her teeth twice a day since she was a puppy, with a little assistance of course. She LOVES this toothpaste. That is all it took to create this habit.

Both dogs love this toothpaste. They would eat it from the tube if allowed. They get good check-ups and we don't have bad "doggie breath."

My two Labs LOVE this toothpaste in the chicken and peanut butter flavors. Of course, Labs love anything in their mouth, but they line up each evening looking forward to their brushing. It freshens their breath and helps to control tartar and bleeding. My Bichon who hates to be tampered with even has reluctantly given in to the brushing because she enjoys the flavor.

Our Jack Russell loves it spread on a bone. It is more 'candy' than actually being beneficial to teeth cleaning, and at $ 4 for 2.5 ozs, that comes out to $ 25 a pound! You be the judge to whether it is worth that price.
