Are these the same products that I get from my vet?
Yes, these are the same exact products. We have veterinarians on staff to guide us through product selection. All of our products are FDA approved, unlike some other sources on the internet and even local pet stores.
How do I get a prescription from my Vet?
We need a signed prescription from your vet on all products marked as perscriptions. Most vets are happy to do this providing there is no medical reason not do to so. Prescription labels are not acceptable. As an alternative, we can also call your Vet to OK the prescription. To use this option, please provide your pet's name and contact information for your Vet in the Vet Info section during checkout.
How do I send you the prescription?
- Please place your order online or over the telephone at 1-800-889-8967 first.
- Print and fill in this prescription request form with your prescription information.
- Write your order number on the prescription before faxing or scanning.
- You can scan the prescription and email it as an attachement (file smaller than 300K) to rx@entirelypets.com, or fax it to 1-866-259-5824.
How do I get refills on a prescription I've ordered previously?
If there were refills listed on your prescription, we will keep the prescription on file. If you know you have refills remaining on your last prescription submitted to us, please place a new order and
write "Prescription on file" in the Vet Info section of the order form. If you have no refills remaining, please place a new order and fax us another prescription, or you can have us call your Vet to OK the prescription by providing your
pet's name and
contact information for your Vet in the Vet Info section of the order form.
How is medication stored?
All of our medication is stored in temperature controlled warehouses. Medication that needs to be kept cold is stored in large refrigerators. Our staff veterinarians check everything regularly to ensure that all products are stored in their proper places.
If I place my order right now will it ship out today?
Non-prescription orders are generally shipped the same day that they are placed. If you ordered a prescription item it will be shipped when we receive the prescription. If we receive your prescription by 1:00 PM CST, it will ship out that same day. All other orders will ship out the next business day.
How is it that you can sell these so much cheaper than my vet?
Due to the fact that our customer base is so much larger then your veterinarian's, we purchase in much greater quantities than they are able to. Therefore we can achieve a substantial cost savings and pass on the savings to you.
How can I tell that something requires a prescription?
When you click on an item that requires a prescription you will notice a red Rx symbol with the words 'A prescription is required' next to it. If you have any questions regarding this feel free to call our customer care center at 1-800-889-8967 and one of our representatives will gladly assist you.
Is Free shipping for orders over $100 for US shipments only?
Unfortunately due to high shipping costs for International orders we are unable to ship orders over $100.00 for free. International shipping may vary depending on the size, weight, and location your order is being shipped to.
Do I need a new prescription each time I order?
You will need a new prescription the next time you order if your Vet has indicated 0 refills. If your pet is going to be on the same prescription for a long period of time it is advised that you ask your Vet to indicate refills and also join our auto-reship program.
What type of shipping services do you use?
Our shipping carriers are USPS, FedEx, UPS, DHL, and OnTrac. Our time frame for shipping ranges from Regular Ground shipping 4-7 business days, Priority shipping 2-3 business days, and overnight shipping.
What is ORM-D?
ORM-D is a marking for mail or shipping in the United States that identifies "Other Regulated Materials-Domestic". These items will be marked with a blue label and will only ship out via ground.
If I order on Friday overnight will I receive it by Saturday?
There is no weekend delivery, so orders shipped Friday overnight will arrive Monday.
