Joint MAX® for Cats Granules is a powerful combination of active ingredients to aid in your cat's normal recovery of joint issues. Created with a mixture of Glucosamine, Chondroitin, MSM, Creatine, EPA, DHA, and Vitamin C, Joint MAX Granules are an effective combination of some of the best, top-quality ingredients on the market.
Glucosamine is an easily absorbed natural substance that may stimulate the production of proteoglycans, which help maintain the health and resiliency of joints and connective tissues. Glucosamine helps to maintain synovial fluid that lubricates the joints and helps sustain joint mobility. Glucosamine and Chondroitin work together to support joint health by supporting the structural integrity of joints and connective tissues. EPA and DHA (omega-3 fatty acids) working together, may ease the stiffness and soreness from normal daily exercise or activity by cushioning tissues. MSM and antioxidants help the body by reducing free radicals and allowing the body's cells to flush them out. MSM combined with Creatine are included to both unlock energy and may help your pet's normal recovery.
If your cat seems to be slowing down or is recovering from joint or hip surgery, getting his/her joints to where they should be is critical. A cat's joints have a complex system of living tissues. They can be disturbed by age, weight, or lack of exercise. Joint MAX Granules can be a part of a multi-faceted approach to healthy joints. If your cat is undergoing joint discomfort from normal daily exercise or activity or is also recovering from surgery, Joint MAX Granules for Cats may help.

Appears to Be a Good Product by Ro from Seattle10/23/2012
The product claims to have the right ingredients for healthy joints. It will take some weeks of using the product to determine whether this is so for my 13 y.o. cat. She loves the taste. I mix one scoop in a 6 oz can of food before serving her. The only "side effect" I've noted is that she loves her food even more!
My cats love it! by nic from Boise, ID01/16/2012
I mix 2 scoops of the powder in with some wet food every day, my 2 cats gobble it right down. They are typically picky with any food additives so I was surprised that they didn't hesitate. My overweight cat seems to be moving more easily.
Super product for FLUTD by Paul's mom01/29/2013
I use this for my cats who have FLUTD (feline lower urinary tract disorder.) It is a fantastic preventative - like teflon for the bladder - mix it with canned cat food and water. The boys love it.
Well Worth It by Buffy from Omaha, NE11/06/2012
My 17 year old cat has been taking Joint MAX CAT for only one month and seems to be much better. Before, her hind legs would give out and she would sit down right there. Now she jumps on the bed and is very social. I don't see any sign that she is in pain anymore. I mix it with 1/2 can of canned cat food daily.
excellent for some cats with chronic urinary infe by Sushi02/13/2012
I have been using this product for about 7 years for a cat that has recurring urinary tract infections. It has prevented the recurrence of the problem. I believe the study was done at The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. It was recommended to me by my vet in Columbus Ohio 7 years ago.
joint max for cats by allie from California07/21/2013
I thought that going the granule route would be more economical and easier. Well, it's not easier my cat hates it. When you scoop it on to the food there is a lot of powder. I stir it but there is way to much and my cat won't evan eat the food.
I recommend Joint Max capsules which work great.
This granule formula sucks.
Great product, Great taste by Sam from Allen TX07/11/2012
I have been using this product for my overweight cat for the past 7 years. She likes the taste, which makes her daily dosing a breeze and it has kept her very mobile.

No more limping! by fancyspider from Arizona07/09/2012
I've had my 10 year old orange male cat on Joint Max for about 2 years. He has a shoulder that would give him trouble from time to time and Joint Max seems to have helped with his soreness. No more limping! He also likes the flavor.
A great product for cat care by Jimf from New Hyde Park, NY10/14/2010
I sprinkle the granules on my seven cats food. It makes them more lively and less susceptable to aches. Not a substitute for athiritis medicine though it seems to make older cats feel better. A great value.
Joint max great by mamaki from Central Florida07/05/2014
This product works! My cat is a Russian Rag Doll and he is going to be 24 years old this month he was limping and couldn't jump up on anything. I saw this on entirely pets and decided to try it. I put a scoop on his wet food in the am and he chomped it down. In about a week and a half he stopped limping so much and came running when I clapped for him to come in and eat. I was so happy as he has been a friend for a long time. I wanted his last days to be comfortable. I am ready to buy another container for him. It is so much easier than capsules and pills. But best of all he likes it. Thank you for a good product. Kathleen Wattles

The form of this product is referred to as "granules" - which the dictionary describes as "small particles or pellets". Unfortunately, it is not in any way "granular" but is actually a very fine powder, much like talcum. The idea is that you sprinkle the talcum over the cat's food and she gobbles it down unwittingly, limping away the better for it. So, two complaints as follows:

Not only for joints by Nainee from Brooklyn, New York08/02/2013
My cats get a scoop of Joint Max in their wet food with every meal. It is not only good for their joints, but it helps to relax the muscles. It was recommended by their vet.
GREAT PRODUCT ! by Barbi - Portland OR10/30/2009
I started my 13yr old cat on Joint Max almost 2 yrs ago. She limped badly on a front and back leg. She lost the limp in about 3 weeks and has been tearing around the house and up the cat tree ever since. Wonderful product. Super fast shipping.
Great Alternative by Misa Camarelli09/26/2008
It is very hard for my cats to take pills, these granules are great beacuse they allow me to give my cat her supplements without having her to chew on a tablet.
