Great alternative by Max's mommy from Indiana05/11/2011
This product was used as an alternative to urocit k. the rx costs 1.50 per pill and my max was on 2 per day to prevent bladder stones. I now have him on K-plus potassium citrate and the results are wonderful. and at only 17.99 for 100 chewable pills it is a great value. Thank you so much if not for this medication I may not have been able to afford his life long treatment.
Great value by Nanc04/23/2012
I had purchased K-Cit-V from my vet for almost double the price of this product. Ingredients are almost identical & my dog loves this as much as she loved the other. I will definitely continue to purchase this product.
Waste of Money by Two Hounds from Oregon07/01/2014
I purchased these "chewables" for my 2 dogs (schnauzer and shih tzu). Neither will take the
"chewables" and when I crumble it onto their food they eat around it. What a waste.
Prevention is better than Cure by Clive from New Zealand10/26/2012
Great Product for assisting in preventing urinary stones in dogs. Our dog developed urinary stones and they were removed by surgery. This product helps prevent stones forming again and our dogs chew them like treats.
K-Plus Works Great by Rsqwyr from Austin, TX10/24/2012
K-Plus does what it is supposed to for my dog (increase his pH). He thinks they are treats so no problem getting him to eat them. He used to be on prescription Potassium Citrate tablets, and when the price of them more than doubled, I switched. I have seen no difference in effectiveness so I would consider trying them and saving yourself $$$$.
Zoe doesn't like anymore by Zoe's Papa from West Hollywood, CA09/21/2013
I want to give a 5 star rating but my miniature schnauzer doesn't like these tablets anymore. At first I bought the granules and she wouldn't eat her food. Then she ate the tablets for a month and now spits them out. My other dog loves the supplement but it doesn't have urinary tract problems.
One of my young cats had developed a pretty serious urinary issue (blood in urine, straining to urinate, etc.), which unfortunately had not been treated by his prior owner.
After doing extensive research I decided to try K-Plus and Cosequin. It's hard to say which one is beneficial or if it is the combination of the two but my cat's urinary health improved incredibly!
For maintenance, I give him 1/2 scoop twice a day and once capsule once per day. I only give him about 1/3 cup of dry food per day and feed him canned food twice a day with the K-Plus and Cosequin.

My Bichon mix takes these as recommended by his Vet to maintain a neutral pH in his urine. He had surgery to remove bladder stones so this product plus special food are essential in keeping him stone free.

Good delivery service of much needed product by Mo from Chester uk05/07/2014
My Westie has had calcium oxalate stones removed from his bladder and as he is diabetic I can not give him special food for that condition so needed potassium citrate with no sugar as a supplement. Hopefully this will keep his urinary ph just right for avoiding further stones. So far after a month of treatment he has no crystals in his urine so that is a good sign. He loves the tablets and eats them first in his bowl.
Tabs work Better by Joe from Northwest, Arkansas07/09/2013
On our vets recommendation, we began giving our Schnauzer a scoop of the Potassium Citrate Cranberry Granules twice daily in her food. After a few months we retested her and the levels we were concerned about did not come down enough, as expected. We switched to the tabs instead of the granules, and when retested, the levels were better. It seems that more of the product is digested into the system from the tab form. The dog loves the taste and thinks its a treat.
Great stuff by Penn03/10/2013
So far this stuff has been great for my dog who has a habit of forming crystals in his bladder. After 2 surgeries to remove them (about 2 or 3 years apart), the vet my dog will probably just keep making the crystals. I make sure my dog drinks lots of water and in the past his urine near the end of a good walk would look a little rusty indicating irritation of the bladder lining by the crystals. Since using this product- his urine has been clear at the end of his walks! I really think this stuff is great!
Good Value by paulaspups07/18/2013
Last year my male Australian Shepherd needed surgery for bladder stones. My vet recommended he start taking potassium citrate to prevent future stones. I shopped around and found K-Plus to be the best value and my dog loves the taste.

A Must for Breeds Prone to Kidney & Bladder Stones by Max Pins from Agoura Hills, CA08/05/2014
My vet advised that my dogs' breed is prone to kidney & bladder stones so I have been mixing this with their food for years. One is over 15 years old and the other is over 20 years old and neither dog has ever had a stone! I had been using a different brand that didn't have the cranberry so I was glad to find this. Both of my dogs seem to prefer it with cranberry and the price is better too!

Excellent Product Priced Right! by Joe L from Arkansas12/17/2012
Our vet recommended that our Schnauzer be placed on Potassium Citrate Plus Cranberry for urinary wellness. We purchased a couple of containers of another brand name from our vet for the first few months. When we had to buy more, I found K-Plus brand on Entirely Pets. The price was much lower than our vet or even buying it from the pet store. I purchased a few containers to try it and ensure that it was the same ingredients and worked as well. It did! We have purchased several containers so far, and I would highly recommend it for any pet that needs this in their diet.
3 Pack K-Plus Citrate Plus Cranberry by teri from Rochester MN02/04/2014
We started my 6 month old female labradore on this due to her having to have a bladder stone the size of my thumbtip removed at three months. The vet suggested a special diet food. After one month we switched back to our original because I hadn't heard any compelling argument of success with the extremely expensive food. Also, my puppy's urinalysis had not changed at all. My husband titles Labradors and the high carbohydrate low protein ratio of the prescription expensive food was less than ideal for building muscle. Also, I know someone who's dog (different breed) had to have a SECOND bladder stone removal surgery after being on the special dog food for 6 months. After a month of adding in the Potassium Citrate, our puppy's urinalysis improved. Specifically the pH, which I was told is a big culprit in stone formation. We are continuing with the potassium citrate and are adjusting her amount up as she is growing in size so much now. We will do another urinaysis is two more months. So far so good. My vet says it's because of the potassium citrate. So glad I researched options!

I use this per my dog's vet's recommendation. The prices, either individually or in "packs" are THE best on the Internet!
The people at Entirely Pets are wonderful to deal with, as well.

Saved me so much money. by Bobbette06/09/2014
I am so happy to have found this product at EntirelyPets. My vet was charging me 3 times as much for the same product. That savings really adds up since my dog has to take it daily for the rest of her life.
Bishon Frise by Elana from Winnipeg, MB04/30/2013
I bought this for my Bishon who had calcium oxalate stones removed. Despite puttting him on the vet diet, he continues to have issues. I started him on this to prevent recurrence and it has worked really well. He loves the taste. I add it to his food with a cup of water twice a day. He has not had any recurrence in a year now. We have an appointment coming up so they can do x-rays to confirm no stones are forming but I am expecting good things. I also add Vitamine B6 to his diet to help with the same thing. This is the best priced item available in packs of 3.
This is the solution !!! by Ramona from Solon, Ohio10/29/2013
My little Bella an 8 lb.Shitzu had shown crystallization in her urine. This is what the vet put her on. She has been on this since I rescued her at 2 yrs.old she is now 13 and has never had urinary issues. Plus she loves the flavor.
