Nemex Tabs For Small Dogs and Puppies removes ascarids like T. canis and T. leonina as well as hookworms like anyclostoma canium and ucinaria stenocephala for small dogs and puppies.
Directions:
For the removal of large roundworms (ascarids) and hookworms, give 1 tablet for each 10lb of body weight. Dosage is designed to provide at least 2.27mg per lb of body weight for dogs weighing over 5 lb and at least 4.54mg per lb of body weight for dogs weighing less than 5 lbs. For dogs weight more than 10 lb, tablets may be broken in half to provide 1/2 tablet for each additional 5lb of body weight.
A laboratory fecal examination should be done first to check for the presense of these parasites.
