adult dogs, including pregnant bitches. The usual dose for dogs, based on weight
using the chart below, is given once a day for 3 consecutive days. The
medication can be mixed with a small amount of the animalís usual food. Dry dog
food may require slight moistening to allow for proper mixing. Medicated food
must be fully consumed to be effective.
Directions: The daily dose of Panacur® C is 50 mg/kg (22.7 mg/lb) of body weight. Please refer to the following dosing table to help in finding the right dose for your dog.
1 gram + 2 gram
1 gram + 4 gram

Use combinations to obtain recommended daily dose.
*packet size is the daily dose. The dog must be treated with this dose for 3
days in a row.
You should weigh your dog to make sure you are using the right size and number of packets. If your dog's weight is in-between the suggested dosing sizes, it is safe to use the next higher size. For example, 1 15-pound dog should be treated with the 2-gram packet.
Give Panacur® C to your dog by mixing the daily dose with a small amount of the usual food. Make sure your dog eats all of the medicated food. You may need to moisten dry dog food to aid mixing.
Repeat the daily dose for three days in a row.
Diagnosis of Parasites: Specific diagnoses require laboratory testing. Consult your veterinarian for help in the diagnosis, treatment, and control of parasitism. Dogs can become infected with several different kinds of tapeworms. Panacur® C only kills Taenia species of tapeworms. If you continue to see tapeworm segments in your dog's stool after treatment with Panacur® C, consult your veterinarian.
Recommended Deworming Schedule: Deworming schedules may vary depending on the climate where you live and the activity of your dog. The following schedule should be used as general guidance. Newly weaned pups (6 to 8 weeks of age) should be dewormed at 6, 8, 10 and 12 weeks of age. Treat the dam at the same time as the puppies. Dogs over six months of age should be dewormed at least twice each year. Each deworming requires 3 daily treatments.
Caution: This medication should not be used in animals
allergic to it. Do not deworm a dog or puppy that is sick. Consult your
Veterinarian for the diagnosis of the illness. Because humans can contract
roundworm, hookworm and tapeworm from pets, it is important to maintain good
personal hygiene. It is also important to eliminate fleas on the pet and in the
household and to not feed the pet rodents or uncooked meat or fish. To prevent
reinfection, daily cleanup of stools is recommended.

Panacur C by Tiggerk from Central Massachusetts02/19/2012
This dewormer 2 gram combined with the 4 gram took care of the worms with only the treatment for 3 days. I have two dogs and this is my neighbors dog that frequents my home. I didn't want to take to vet. This was a win win for both me (not too expensive) and the dog (who doesn't have to suffer with the worms anymore).
It's the only brand I use by Missy from Tulsa, OK09/11/2013
This is one stop shopping for wormers; it takes care of everything but heartworms. It's the only kind I use. Love it.

We were very pleased with this Panacur Dewormer. It did the job. No worms. Prior to using it we noted worms around our dogs bottom and we had tried other products with no results. This is the best treatment for you dogs.

My dog had a bad case of hookworms (they're NASTY) and it effectively got rid of them.
I've been told it works by bacardistreats from St. Petersburg, FL12/19/2011
so I have to use this stuff until I run out of my heartworm/flea combo (which doesn't cover whipworms) every 3 months. My kids aren't sick so I guess it's working. Who knows? I mix it in tuna fish.. the smell kills the taste which I assume must taste like &*#% 'cause if I don't mix it up good enough, they will not eat the panacur.
