I have 2 kittens who were severely sick when they were little. Vet says a virus, possible Feline Herpes type virus that never entirely goes away & occasionally shows symptoms. One of them has severe eye weeping that is reddish in color & his eyes would stay inflamed when not being treated. You are NOT supposed to be using steroid type eye drops for Feline Hepes virus treatment but it was the only thing that kept his eyes clear & not puffy or pink. After years of being on Neo-poly-Dex I decided to try this used in cunjunction with Vetericyn's Opthalmic gel & boy am I glad. His eyes are as clear as using the RX drops & this is without steroids. I'm thrilled. I hope this product never gets discontinued for my cat's sake. If your cat has similar chronic eye issues from a virus, ask your vet about trying this. Costwise this is a bit more expensive at 1st, but is a larger bottle which will last 10x as long, so it's cheaper in the long run & doesn't require a prescription.
