Banana Carob Pupcakes Recipe for Dogs

Banana Carob Pupcakes

Banana Carob Pupcakes Recipe (makes 36 mini muffins)

Ingredients:

  • 3 medium bananas
  • 1/4 cup plain greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup applesauce
  • 1 egg
  • 3 tablespoons coconut oil
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 3/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/2 cup carob chips

Preparation Instructions:

  1. Stir together the wet ingredients in a bowl.
  2. In another bowl, combine the dry ingredients and add to the wet ingredients, stirring until combined.
  3. Fold in the carob chips.
  4. Divide the batter evenly between 12 greased muffin cups.
  5. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes or until done (insert a tootpick into the middle to check)
  6. Remove from oven and cool for 5 minutes before gently removing and placing on a cooling rack until completely cool.

These will last in an airtight container at room temperature for 4-5 days.
