Description

Lifeline Protect provides supplemental colostrum for newborn calves when maternal colostrum quality is unknown or when calves have trouble suckling. Feed in addition to maternal colostrum. Protect is formulated with the added fat and carbohydrates calves need to get up and suckle on their own. Provides 50 grams of globulin protein per feeding, plus essential nutrients. 40% crude protein, 20% fat, formulated for dairy and beef calves. The bovine serum-based formula mixes well and feeds easily.

Useful Information

Protect should be fed in addition to colostrum and has its greatest impact when fed within 4 hours of birth. Mix 1 package with 1.5 quarts of warm (105°F/40°C) water. Stir until completely dissolved. Feed to the calf in one feeding via nipple feeder or esophageal feeder as soon as possible following birth.

Storage:

Store at room temperature in a dry place. Use mixed product immediately do not store.
