Story Nanuk is a 7 1/2 year old Red Siberian Husky that was adopted in October 2012 when he was 4 years old. Siberian Husky rescue volunteers put a plea out that Nanuk needed a new home. His current owner could no longer keep him and was going to surrender him to a shelter if a home was not found. Nanuk's family contacted the volunteers and they brought Nanuk all the way from Pennsylvania to his new home on Long Island. Nanuk fit right in and is the most gentle and loving boy. He especially loves to play and bury himself in the snow. Susan and her family are so glad to have saved the life of this beautiful pooch, and in return, Nanuk has shown his love, affection and gratitude every day since he arrived. Susan and her family love their big fluffy boy and look forward to many more happy and healthy years ahead with Nanuk. This is one awesome, snow-loving husky!
