Vetmedin

Vetmedin is a prescription medication that is used to manage particular types of congestive heart failure in dogs that are at least 6 months of age. Specifically, this medication is used to manage congestive heart failure related to either dilated cardiomyopathy or atrioventricular valvular insufficiency. This formulation works by opening up blood vessels that transport blood away from the heart, which makes it easier for the heart to pump blood.
