Description

A dressing powder and blood coagulant for use on certain types of wounds, cuts and abrasions. Formulated for use on horses and show stock. A caustic and drying agent for slow-healing lesions and excessive granulated tissue (proud flesh). It contains a deodorant to remove objectionable odors from foul or infected wounds.

  • Potassium Alum: An astringent that helps reduce bleeding and promote tissue contraction.
  • Sulfur: Provides antifungal and antibacterial properties.
  • Iodoform: An antiseptic that aids in preventing infection in wounds.
  • Tannic Acid: An astringent that helps reduce inflammation and promote healing.
  • Activated Charcoal: Absorbs toxins and helps in the prevention of proud flesh.
  • Deodorant: Eliminates objectionable odors from foul or infected wounds.

Useful Information

Directions for Use

  • Administration: Provide orally as directed by your veterinarian.
  • Dosage for Mature Horses: Administer 4 to 8 tablespoons 2 to 3 times daily, or as recommended by a veterinarian.
