Use this as an extra energy boost for active performance dog 10+ years old. Does not upset his stomach or give him diarrhea, as many products like this can. He has multiple agility and herding titles, and is starting a new career in Rally Obedience. Keep large cannister in freezer for freshness and take out about a week's worth at a time.

I have used vertex in past and currently for some of my dogs that are in training. I needed little more weight for one of my dogs as she is burning her calories fast when she is training for competition daily. This was a lifesaver. She is maintaining normal healthy weight and she looks amazing.

I do agility with a Border Collie and he really depletes himself after a hard day of training and or at trials. After getting this Vertex and using it for 4 days Flash is a completely new dog after workouts. I even asked if there were steroids in it because it is so effective. Lifelong customer now!

I can really tell an increase of enery and stamina not to mention added bulk to both my Shepherds but specifically my male who is currently eating everything in sight and just getting taller. This has really helped both my working dogs to gain better muscle tone and they are really excelling in their bitework, I swear they are even hitting the sleeve harder and they are moving faster. This is a great product and I can tell it is making a big difference in my dogs performance.

I have 2 dogs, a working german shepherd in IPO and a border collie in agility. Border collie was taking long to recoup after hard workouts,,,,,2 days on Vertex and WOW it's pretty unbelievable how fast she recovers. Better overall muscles also. The german shepherd has 1 bad hip and for some reason shows no lameness on the Vertex. Excellent product! Nice to find a product in this day and age and actually works.

I am a musher with a small team of Siberian Huskies. We are extremely active, and I ask a lot of these dogs. The CPN Vertex is my GO TO supplement for working dogs on a daily basis, and to add to water for "baiting" pre exercise. I mix the vertex to my retired dogs and current working dogs kibble with a little water for their breakfast and dinner. It was difficult for me to keep weight on them as they are all very active. Now I feed less kibble along with the vertex. The glucosamine/chondroitin is an added bonus and the ingredients are easy on their stomachs.I have tried just about every product there is on the market for my senior dogs joints and stiffness. Some products helped a little, but then I tried Vertex. This stuff works unbelievably well. Since I started all of my dogs on it I find that my younger dogs maintain a healthy weight, have softer coats, shed less and higher energy (not that they need more energy). My older dogs are less stiff and move around much easier as well! This is the best product!

I used this to add some supplements for my working dog. It was difficult for him to keep the weight on. After a thorough vet check for any medical/parasite issues, we added Vertex as a supplement to his food. It helped him with glycogen replacement after hours of searching.
The glucosamine/chondroitin is an added bonus and the ingredients are easy on his stomach. I love that it is powder formula for travel and space.

I have tried just about every product there is on the market for my working dogs back pain. Some products helped a little or for a short period of time, but then I tried Vertex. I havent looked back since. This stuff works unbelievably well. It is highly palatable, I just mix it into her kibble with some water and she gobbles it up. Since I started her on this she has had no back pain and she gets up from laying down quickly like a puppy again. This stuff WORKS!

I do search and rescue for cook county illinois with my German shepherd and labrador. Both dogs were getting fatigued after 2-3 day searches and would take 3-5 days to recover. Especially in hot weather. I started them both on this product vertex and was absolutely amazed at how quickly it worked to keep my dogs stamina up and decreased recovery time to barely a day even after long deployments. Makes them eat more though. :-)
