DermaBenSs has been formulated to support healthy skin for animals with seborrheic skin conditions. This soap-free formula contains ceramides that aid in moisturizing, repairing, and restoring dry, damaged skin. DermaBenSs' active ingredient, 2.5% Benzoyl Peroxide provides antimicrobial, keratolytic, comedolytic (follicular flushing), and degreasing actions while 1% Salicyclic Acid provides keratoplastic, keratolytic, antibacterial, antifungal and antiparasitic benefits.

Ingredients
Active Ingredients:
- 2.5% Benzoyl Peroxide provides antimicrobial (especially antibacterial), keratolytic, comedolytic (follicular flushing), and degreasing actions.1
- 1% Sodium Thiosulfate (Sulfur) provides keratoplastic, keratolytic, antibacterial, antifungal, and antiparasitic benefits.1
- 1% Salicylic acid provides mild antipruritic, antibacterial, keratoplastic,and keratolytic actions; lowers the skin pH and increases corneocyte hydration. Salicylic acid and sulfur have shown to be synergistic in their keratolytic actions.1
- Ceramides aid in moisturizing, repairing, and restoring dry damaged skin.
Useful Information
Shake well. Apply to wet coat, rub onto skin and haircoat until lightly lathered. Keep skin and haircoat lathered for 5-10 minutes, then rinse well. Use 2-3 times per week or as directed by veterinarian.

Excellent Shampoo

I've used this shampoo for two years since our vet recommended it for some skin problems. I have not had problems with hot spots since we started using it. It whitens their fur and leaves it soft and easy to comb.

My puppy, Finn, has struggled with seeping sores since we adopted him. He is on steroids and has been through two rounds of antibiotics. To help relieve his severely red and irritated skin, our vet recommended DermaBenSs. This shampoo has helped soothe the irritation. Now, Finn is one happy little guy!

Our vet recommended this shampoo for skin problems. It left the dog's fur and skin so nice we started using it for normal washing. Great stuff.

This shampoo really helped our Piper's skin problems. We bath her once a week and she has stopped scratching and digging on herself. This shampoo leaves her coat so soft and shiny and it smells very good. This shampoo has made such a difference in Piper, she is now much happier and we don't find hair all over the floor that she has pulled out and she no longer has bald spots on her. We highly recommend this shampoo and Entirely Pets was the best price we found online.

It Works!

My 10 yr. old Maltese kept having skin issues. I hated to keep putting him on antibiotics. I've only been using about 2 weeks, but the condition is greatly improved. It also leaves his hair soft and clean smelling. I could not find the shampoo locally, so I was so glad to find the product online. The order was filled and shipped quickly.

The Best Shampoo for Skin Issues

My Yorkie can not have grains and starch's due to his skin is in the process of being healed...due his GI Track PH was off due to antibiotics and steroid shots. Most vets and web sites recommend Oatmeal Based Shampoo for skin issues. That is most likely ok...as long as your dog has NO GI Track issues. Oatmeal is a grain that will feed the yeast on a dog's skin.
DECHRA DermaBen Ss is the most wonderful shampoo. Using Pro-Biotics and Zymes along with this Sampoo...keeps my Pets skin in top condition.
I was washing my dog every 2 days with this shampoo. He is doing so well... I now wash him every 5 days. He is on his way to a healthy inside and out.

Great for allergies

My allergy specialist vet "ordered" me to use this shampoo on my dog, and he now gets 2 baths per week at the groomer. Bailey has a huge allergy problem taking pills every day and getting 2 shots once a week -- he even had to have one of his ear canals removed. This shampoo can't be beat for any dog with skin or allergy issues. Note: you should still use a creme rinse.

This is a great shampoo for any dog suffering from skin infections and that's the only shampoo that helped my dog (and I've tried different ones over the past 7 years).
A note of caution, though, this shampoo contains peroxide, so careful not to bleach your clothes.

I am a professional groomer and I use DermaBenSs shampoo on my own dogs, who have lots of coat and sensitive skin. It cleans thoroughly, lathers well, rinses out easily, and leaves a show ring shiny coat with a very mild coconut scent.
This shampoo is very effective for various types of skin rash and yeast problems when used properly.
I ordered for the first time from Entirely Pets because my usual vendor was out of stock. I'm impressed with the service I received; very prompt processing and delivery of my order, plus free shipping on gallons!!! None of my "usual" vendors do that, so I'll be ordering again soon.
