Description
Douxo Chlorhexidine +Climbazole Mousse
with phytosphingosine, is a no-bathing antiseptic leave-on Mousse that makes treating your pet an enjoyable experience. Chlorhexidine has a strong bactericidal and bacteriostatic activity on the Gram positive and Gram negative bacteria. Climbazole is an imidazole compound active on most fungi and yeasts (Malassezia pachydermatis). Phytosphingosine – salicyloyl is a pro-ceramide that helps restore the skin barrier, and also has anti-in ammatory properties.Ingredients

Useful Information
Directions:
External use only.
Localized Use:
Brush the hair,apply on dry coat. Dispense 1 or 2 pumps in the hand and then apply on the animal. Do not rinse. Let air dry. Apply as often as necessary.
Generalized Use:
Brush the coat thoroughly. Apply on dry coat. Dispense one or two pumps in the hand and then apply the foam on the animal. Massage into the hair coat in order for the product to reach the skin. Repeat as many times as necessary to cover the whole body, avoiding areas around the eyes and mouth. Do not rinse. Let air dry. Once dry, the animal may be brushed again to bring luster.
Dosage:
Under 11 lbs: 1 pump per 2 lbs
12- 88 lbs: 1 pump per 4 lbs
Over 89 lbs: 1 pump per 6 lbs
Dosage can be doubled for long-haired dogs.

Miracle Mousse

My cat is 13 and has struggled with feline acne, dandruff and greasy fur/stud tail/hair loss on his back for most of his life. We used this mousse over 3 days 1x/day, then shampooed it out with the Douxo shampoo a week later...he now looks beautiful, fluffy and is clearly happier and more comfortable. I saw a LOT of brownish gunk and dandruff in the fur I brushed out before shampooing, but none since he was shampooed. His chin got a bit worse after applying the mousse - it was redder and swollen. I started wiping it with just water every couple of days. About 2 weeks later all of the black stuff released out of his chin, and I applied some more mousse to help remove it and now his chin is fluffy and white after years of trying EVERYTHING. This product is amazing. Thank you!

My dog get "moussed" up every morning when he goes for a walk. That way he can't lick it off. It seems to be working as his allergy doctor said. He was the doctor that recommended it.

I use this in additon to the shampoo. I dose this on our girl on affected areas before bedtime. She had a terrible reaccuring staff infection which we've been able to get under control. Wonderful

I am so grateful that the vet recommend that I try this product. It has been several years going to the vet and trying many different products to treat my King Charles allergy skin problems. This has been the first product in years that has been able to treat her skin problems and more importantly-helps with her fur to grow back in those spots. Although it is expensive at the Vet, I will continue to buy this product from Entirely Pets because it is more affordable and the product really helps my little girl Noelani.

Saving my dogs sanity, coat, and skin

My mom had this mousse for her 14 year old Cairn Terrier. Our 2 year old Australian Shepard/Bernese Mountain mix has severe flea allergies (and we live in SW Georgia where fleas are a 14 month a year problem... yes I went there). Our vet prescribed the Chlorhexidine shampoo, but that's a tedious process because we have to let it sit on his skin for 10 minutes before rinsing.This product is marvelous. In between shampoos, or whenever he looks like he has found a miserable spot, we just get the mousse out and he comes RUNNING to us to let us massage it into his skin. What were red, irritated spots - I now see hair coming back in! Yeah! It'll be ongoing, but it is SO nice to have something that will help him.My only concern is that I wish it cost less, because he's a big dog and the flea allergy covers a good portion of his back end. But I'll keep getting it if it helps. At EntirelyPets - it costs less than other places!

My little one has problems going out doors, grass and what ever else is out there. Douxo is amazing! Douxo applied when he comes back in helps a lot. I use this on both my dogs. It has never made them sick, there is no order. My other little one Pepper, all he has to do is go out and as soon as he comes back in he is biting on his paws. This takes care of it. Y es I do have to apply Douxo more than once a day, but I trust it and know it won't make my boys sick.

I recently adopted a Newfoundland who had a very serious skin condition. She had skin issues that went without medical care for 6 years before I adopted her. After 5 months her skin is doing great and she is growing beautiful hair (most of her hair had fallen out because of the condition). Granted she was on antibiotics, but I believe using the mousse in conjunction with the Duoxo shampoo has helped significantly.

Good for chronic skin problems

I use this mousse for my dog with chronic skin problems. I rub it onto his belly and paws in between baths when his skin is having a flare up. It seems to soothe him and help to decrease the skin irritation and redness.

Problem with Mousse

I've used the regular spray product before with good results. The problem with this version is that there is no 'mousse'. It just comes out in a runny liquid form so is hard to control and get on the right spots. My vet thought this might be better for my dog as possibly it would penetrate through his coat better but I'll be switching back to the original

Bodie loves her Douxo Antispetic Chlorhexidine shampoo and mousse. She says, "my skin feels great and I look simply fabulous!!" The mousse is great in between baths. It's easy to use and helps keep her skin healthy and gives her such relief and comfort!

OK but makes coat sticky

I bought this mousse to go with the douxo shampoo that I use once a week on my dog. The mousse is probably a good product but makes their coat sticky and gummy which feels gross when you pet your dog. The product says it can be used in one spot or all over if needed. It's ok if just put in one place but I would not smear it all over him.

I have a 3-year-old doggy with really bad skin allergies, we have been using the Douxo shampoo and it does help but I see that Douxo also has the spray and mousse. Which one do you recommend more the mousse or spray?

Hi Ramonita, For really bad allergies, please consult your veterinarian. As for our recommendation, it may depend on the fur coat. For short-hair, the spray will get to the derm layers just fine. For shaggy dogs, the mousse with brushing or massaging it in might work best. Consider some Omega Fish Oils in their diet and Allergy Relief by Sentry. Take care. <i class="fas fa-heart"></i>
