Description

Endovac-Equi® with ImmunePlus® is for the vaccination of healthy horses 6 months of age and older to aid in the prevention of endotoxin-mediated diseases caused by Salmonella typhimurium and Escherichia coli.

Useful Information

ENDOVAC-Equi® with ImmunePlus [Salmonella typhimurium]. Shake well before use. Inject 1 mL into the musculature of healthy equids. Repeat in 2 or 3 weeks. Administer a 1 mL booster dose annually. Use entire contents when opened.

Cautions: ENDOVAC-Equi® with ImmunePlus [Salmonella typhimurium]. Do not freeze. Do not vaccinate within 21 days of slaughter. Do not vaccinate a horse with a history of laminitis or following a recent episode of acute endotoxemia. Do not vaccinate horses recently administered progesterone or steroids. Do not vaccinate horses during active training periods. Horses should be given moderate exercise or turned on pasture following vaccination. Local swelling and tenderness at the injection site may occur with the use of this vaccine. Resolution of these signs usually occurs in 3-5 days but occasionally in 10 days or more. Lethargy, inappetence and stiffness may occur lasting up to 2-3 days. If anaphylactic reaction occurs, administration of epinephrine and other sound medical procedures should be implemented. Consult a veterinarian before administering vaccines.

Storage: Store in the dark at 2° to 7°C (35° to 45°F). Do not freeze.

Shake well before use. Use entire contents when first opened.
