Upgrade from Frontline Plus

Living in a tropical climate fleas & ticks thrive. My successful line of attack is to alternate months between “Gold” and “Plus” on my Golden Retriever and Golden Doodle I prefer topical treatment and this product consistently performs. Application is done at nighttime meal; easy access to happily distracted dogs! It absorbs quickly w/o a greasy mess. Ingestible treatments present risks of many neurological side effects. This product is perfect for a dog with seizures. Entirely Pets offers fair pricing & on-time delivery every time. Thanks!
Pros
  • Works! Easily absorbed w/o mess. No negative side effects.

Best Flea & tick protection

My dog has digestive issues so oral prevention is not something I want to try. I find this product is very effective. Since using, I have not seen any fleas or ticks and my dog has not had any adverse reactions.

Frontline has generally been effective on our dogs. Today, it was a pain to get the tube "pierced" and the contents was very runny and we got as much on our hands as on the hound.

Another disappointment
August 16, 2016
Since Frontline Plus no longer worked on my Standard Poodle, I thought that the new hopefully improved version might. But no, Frontline Gold was much like putting water on his coat. There was not one dead flea on him after three days. Not sure why although it was very difficult to place it on him correctly - they state a flat line on his skin all the way from neck to tail - for starters there is not enough liquid to do that and a Standard Poodle is a long dog! So, not sure if that was the problem but this year in North Central WV the temps and humidity are perfect for a bumper crop of fleas and it is a seemingly non ending problem. Oh, for the first freeze!
