Useful Information
Precautions:
1. Use as a pet ramp only. Do not use to load people or other objects.
2. Always lead or guide pet across the length of the ramp with one hand on the collar and the other hand on the hind of the pet.
3. Help your pet get adjusted to the ramp prior to using. Ramp will bow slightly as your pet walks across it.
4. Never leave the pet on ramp unattended.
5. The pet ramp is designed to support a maximum of 150 lbs when installed properly. Exceeding the load limit may cause injury to the pet or pet owner.
6. Never use the pet ramp while the vehicle is in motion.
7. The top step is 30" high when steps are fully opened. The height between each step is 7 3/8".
Instructions to set up ramp:
1. Unhinge the locking pin on both sides of the rampstep.
2. Unfold the rampstep completely.
3. Place ramp on a firm surface with the non-skid surface facing up.
4. Extend and adjust the outer bar frame to your desired length by pressing in the quick-release buttons on each side. Then, pull or push the tubular frame until the quick-release buttons align with the desired rail holes and lock in place.
5. Make sure the ramp is secure and all four corners are supported.
Instructions to set up steps:
1. Unhinge the locking pin on both sides of the rampstep.
2. Unfold the rampstep completely and place on a firm surface.
3. Extend and adjust the outer bar frame to your desired length by pressing in the quick-release buttons on each side. Then, pull or push the tubular frame until the quick-release buttons align with the desired rail holes and lock in place.
4. Pull up step firmly to release it from the step locking pins on both sides of the rampstep.
5. Turn the step upside down and unhinge the metal kick plate from underneath the step.
6. Insert the metal kick plate into the locking slots on both sides of the frame.
7. Repeat steps 4-6 for the remaining three steps.
8. Make sure the steps are secure and all four corners of the rampstep are supported.
