Very dry & crumby 'Lamb & Sweet Potato' treats

I have used the 'Beef Bacon & Eggs' recipe and they are soft/chewy and my dog loves them. The package I received of the 'Lamb & Sweet Potato' recipe are very hard and not soft & chewy as advertised and have a best by used date of 09/09/16. I will not buy this recipe again.
