My Pit Bull rescue is about 18 months old and boy does she like to chew! I was discouraged from getting this toy by the check out person who said these come back with the ends chewed up. But I bought it anyway.
The trick I believe is to ONLY PUT DRY SMALL TREATS in it. Like Charlee Bear brand. I've had this for a couple weeks now and she gets it once a day half-filled with treats. She loves it!! It makes her use her brain. She has figured out how to flip it over and when she's flipping it and it gets too close to the sofa she picks it up and takes it somewhere where she's out in the open so it won't roll under the furniture! Its making her use her brain! She loves this toy! The body of it is tough and she can chew on it no sweat. The ends are softer so if you were to fill it w something soft it would encourage chewing and destruction of it. She LOVES it!

Sadly this was not my first choice. Although well made like all Kong toys this product requires large treats and not suitable for my Scottie.
KONG Satellite Treat Dispenser was my first choice but was on backorder. Since I live internationally I could not wait for 4 weeks.

Not as tough as I was hoping for

My pit bull was able to tear tiny pieces of this apart trying to get the treat. I like this toy, its still intact, just has little pieces missing from each side. I was just hoping for something a little more sturdy for my pup.
