Amount may be double for hard-working dogs.
Directions for Daily Oral Equine Use Maintenance: ½ ounce (15ml) per 1,200 lbs once daily Quantity can be double for initial 7 days or prior to competition.
Dosing Tips: For optimum results, daily dosage with LubriSyn is recommended. This is important because hyaluronan introduced into the body from any source-whether orally or by injection-last only 24 to 48 hours. It is therefore essential to replenish hyaluronan on a regular basis. A daily dose of LubriSyn provides hyaluronan in its natural state to help replenish the synovial fluid in joints, keeping them cushioned and lubricated.
CAUTIONS: Safe use in pregnant animals or animals intended for breeding has not been proven. If animal's condition worsens or does not improve, stop product administration and consult your veterinarian.
WARNINGS: For animal use only. Keep out of the reach of children. In case of an accidental overdose, contact a health professional immediately. This product should not be given to animals intended fo rhuman consumption.

Colby is a purebred Catahoula rescue dog. We started him on LubriSyn right away because of the trauma in his life. I know he could not walk very easily without it because my sister cared for him while we were out of town once and forgot to give him his LubriSyn. Pretty soon she noticed him limping really badly and could not figure it out, and then she realized she had not been giving him the LubriSyn. Not long after taking it again he started to walk normal. In July 2017 out beloved Colby passed away but the LubriSyn helped him have a wonderful life!

It might help but it might not

We have tried this for about 6 months now. Not sure it works as well with our older dogs as advertised, but it might. I tried it too, it seems to lubricate the joints a bit - not too much. It is expensive but might be worth the try.
