Ecto Soothe 3C Flea Shampoo
This is the best over the counter flea shampoo that I have found. It has a nice scent and kills fleas on contact. The other brands seem less potent - it takes them longer to kill a flea.
I live in California and it has been dry for a few years now. We are in a serious drought. I can't seem to get rid of the fleas no matter what I try. owners have complained about how hard it is to get rid of fleas this year. The vet sells Ecto Soothe and he/she said that a lot of other pet I check the dog for fleas daily. I dip a qtip into the flea shampoo and it kills them instantly. I know this sounds crazy but they keep coming back. I shampoo him one day, inspect him every day and then on the 3rd or 4th days a few fleas come back. Then I zap them with the qtip with the Ecto Soothe. No fleas for a day or two and then a few more appear. Not as infested as before but still more fleas. I finally have this under control but it still takes a lot of effort. I even had him professionally bathed and groomed - with the Ecto Soothe of course - and he was covered in fleas within a week because I stopped inspecting him every day. False security I guess. But now I know the score and keep following up and inspecting the dog. We love our pets!!

Great !
I really like this shampoo, not only does it help with fleas, but I was surprised at how shiny it leaves the coat. Recommend this.
