TELFA™ AMD™ Antimicrobial Non-Adherent Dressing is impregnated with PHMB (polyhexamethylene biguanide), a powerful yet safe antiseptic that has a broad range of effectiveness against Gram-positive and Gram-negative microorganisms, including some multi-drug resistant strains such as MRSA. This product provides healthcare facilities with a low-cost, prophylactic method of treatment without changing nursing protocol. Has a perforated mylar film with an absorbent core that makes it ideal for use as a primary dressing for lightly draining wounds.
