Description
Vetoquinol Ear Cleaning Solution is a comprehensive formulation for both dogs and cats that cleans, dries, acidifies and deodorizes ears. It is gentle enough for routine use in the bathing/grooming area, exam room or treatment area.

For very dirty ears, apply 2–3 times daily for a week.

Ingredients
Active: Sd-Alcohol 40-2, 10%; Lactic Acid, 1.76%; Benzoic Acid, 0.15%; Salicylic Acid, 0.1%.
Inactive: A Fragrant Base Containing Aloe Vera Gel.

Useful Information
Apply Ear Cleansing Solution liberally into the ear canal of the cat or dog. Massage the base of the ear. Allow pet to shake head. Wipe excess away with a cotton ball.
For very dirty ears, apply 2 - 3 times daily for several days. Do not use for more than 7 consecutive days without consulting a veterinarian.
For routine cleaning and maintenance of healthy ears, use 1–2 times weekly or as recommended by your veterinarian. Always apply after swimming.
HAZARDS TO HUMANS AND ANIMALS: Consult your veterinarian if pet shakes head or scratches ears frequently. If redness or irritation develop or persists, discontinue use and consult your veterinarian. For topical use only. Avoid contact with eyes.

Easy to use, and smells good

My Golden Retriever suffered from ear problems most of his life, getting red and irritated. He was in and out of the vet office many times for it. The vet suggested weekly cleaning with this solution to help the situation. It worked! Dramatically less problems with his ears. You squirt it in, massage the base of the ear, let the dog shake their head to clear out some of the liquid, and then take a crumpled up (to soften it) paper towel gently in the ear to absorb the liquid.

I have tried other products for my Wheaton Terrier's ears, and nothing works as well as Vet Solutions. I highly recommend this product.

I use this earwash on my ferrets all the time. It doesn't have a repelling smell like most other ear washes do and it keeps their ears smelling good, even a few days after using it. It's a good, sensative formula that does the trick!
