DOUXO Chlorhexidine PS Micro-Emulsion Spray is a no-rinse, antiseptic treatment formulated for dogs and cats. It helps manage bacterial and fungal skin infections, supports skin barrier restoration, and reduces inflammation. This easy-to-use spray is ideal for pets that are difficult to bathe, allowing consistent topical care over large or hard-to-reach areas.

Recommended for the management of skin conditions related to bacterial and fungal infections, including:

Ingredients
Active Ingredients:
- Chlorhexidine Gluconate 3%: A broad-spectrum antiseptic that helps eliminate harmful bacteria and fungi on the skin.
- Phytosphingosine Salicyloyl 0.05%: A pro-ceramide with anti-inflammatory and skin barrier–restoring properties, aiding in the management of skin disorders.
Useful Information
Directions for Use:
- Shake well before each use.
- Brush the pet’s coat to remove loose hair, debris, or mats.
- Hold the bottle about 12 inches (30 cm) from the pet's body.
- Spray directly onto the affected areas of the skin. For small to medium-sized areas, apply 1–3 pumps per site.
- Massage gently into the skin to ensure even distribution. Do not rinse.
- Allow the product to air dry naturally. Do not towel dry.
- Apply once daily or as directed by your veterinarian.
- For widespread use, the product may be sprayed over the entire body every 2–3 days or as instructed by your vet.
Storage Instructions:
- Store at room temperature, between 59–86°F (15–30°C).
- Keep the bottle tightly closed when not in use.
- Do not freeze or expose to excessive heat or direct sunlight.
- Keep out of reach of children and pets when not in use.
Additional Notes:
- For external use only on dogs and cats.
- Avoid contact with eyes, mouth, or mucous membranes. If contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water.
- If skin irritation occurs or worsens, discontinue use and consult your veterinarian.

This is the first time I've purchased this and it appears to be helping. I wouldn't say it necessarily takes the place of her bath twice a week but does seem to help relieve her misery a little bit.

I bought the set of three - shampoo, spray and mousse and have followed the directions closely. My dog had severe itching, redness and hair loss. The combination of the three works awesome. I have tried every type of product I could find, even changed the diet to take out all grains and by-products. This is the only thing that has ever worked.

This product cleared up my dog's skin condition in combination with the shampoo. He is allergic to some grasses around our neighborhood. It got so bad that he had chewed patches of hair off of his legs and then he would get fungal and bacterial infections. I started bathing him every other day, then twice a week, then once a week , etc. Now I only have to bathe him once a month. If he starts licking his feet or legs I use the spray and it has never flared up again. Also he doesn't like the taste so he doesn't lick them. I can't believe the difference after everything else we tried.

This. in conjunction with the shampoo, works wonders. Max's coat looks and feels better, but more importantly, his skin condition has improved. And like the bottle suggests, you just need a few sprays daily.

I ordered this product to use in between shampoos for my Schnauzer. He has had skin problems all his life (10 yrs.) It is great for that reason. The only issue is the spray handle broke after a few pulls. Which a lot of spray bottles do. I just transferred the liquid to an extra bottle that I had and will use it that way. But, I like the fact that it is a product that can be used in between shampoos.
